Inspirational Gardens
Big Island Estate on the Slopes of Hualalai, Holualoa, Hawaii

"Inspired by the dawn of spring and the promise of summer, this month’s collection of homes pays homage to the formal garden: that enchanted space where art and nature converge. Our garden odyssey begins in the South Seas, where the lush 90-acre grounds of Hawaii’s Big Island Estate (shown above) are home to citrus and macadamia trees and beautiful, Zen-inspired gardens overlooking the breathtaking Kona coast. An exotic array of gardens follows, from the secluded and tranquil to the regal and opulent, each is an ode to the green and the grand."
