An ultramodern copper-clad residence on Singapore’s Sentosa Island, The Copper House was designed by award-winning architect Sonny Chan. Two feng shui masters designed its exteriors and interiors in an innovative crab-like design with a maritime-inspired floor plan.
Completely restructured and designed in 2001 by the celebrated architect and interior designer Andrée Putman, the minimalist Villa Putman in Tangier, Morocco, is a masterpiece of clean lines and geometric forms, and one of only four homes ever designed by the architect.

An homage to one of the masters of 20th-century architecture, La Maison de Verre in Princeton, New Jersey, was designed using earth-toned brick and a natural palette, with organic-hued wood and copper arts-and-crafts accents in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright.
Begun in 1969 by celebrated architect Fred Briggs, Rancho Santa Fe, California’s Del Dios Ranch is a testimony to innovative midcentury design, and features concrete, glass, and redwood materials, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, and skillfully laid marble flooring.
The design materials used for Bahia, Brazil’s Villa Caju were carefully selected from artisanal and natural origins: the roof made of wooden shingles and of piassava, the upper floor in wood from demolition, the lower floor of burnt cement, and the overall structure of glass and steel.
