Equestrian Estates for the Sport of Kings

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup returned to the home of British Polo at Cowdray Park on July 19. To mark this highlight of the summer social and sporting calendar, we feature a fine collection of equestrian properties from around the world

On July 19, the prestigious Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cupreturned to the home of British polo at historic Cowdray Park Polo Club in the glorious West Sussex countryside. The Gold Cup, or “British Open,” which is one of the most highly anticipated events of the English social season, was won by the King Power Foxes quartet from Leicester, England, with a 14–8 victory over UAE. The event is the number one polo tournament outside Argentina, attracting the world’s top teams and playing host to European royalty, the international glitterati, and polo fans from across the globe.

In honor of this illustrious event, we present a grand array of world-class properties ranging from historic estancias and working ranches in the Americas to elegant polo estates and state-of-the-art equestrian properties from around the world.

Among the highlights are a spectacular 1880s estancia in southern Uruguay, with more than 780 acres of land, fully equipped with polo grounds, equestrian facilities, scenic lakes, and farmland, and a sensational Florida equestrian estate with a multi-stall barn, working pen, livestock shelters, and white-fenced paddocks and grazing pastures.
