Agents Attend 2019 Luxury Specialist Conference in Houston
 
More than 200 agents from across the network met in Houston, Texas, for our 2019 Luxury Specialist Conference. The two-day symposium and networking event included experts in high-end real estate and other luxury segments, all providing insights on how to provide differentiated and exclusive client service. Leadership and philanthropy were addressed as key elements to deepening ties with existing and prospective clients. At the conclusion of the conference, attendees received a “Christie’s International Real Estate Luxury Specialist” designation from Christie’s Education.
 
Global Network Expands to Denver
The global network expands with the opening of a luxury residential brokerage in Denver, Colorado, operating under the Christie’s International Real Estate brand. The Denver brokerage is an expansion of the Christie’s International Real Estate Aspen Snowmass business, which is co-owned and managed by Alex and Laren Jansen, who also founded Coastal Properties Group International, exclusive Affiliate in the Tampa Bay area. Joining the firm are top luxury real estate agents Rollie Jordan and Gwenivere Snyder, who each have a long-standing reputation for exceptional client service in the local market.
Clients of Walt Danley Realty Tour Christie’s
Led by Catherine Jacobson of Walt Danley Realty, a group of 12 clients from Paradise Valley, Arizona, enjoyed a day at Christie’s auction house in New York. Joined by Executive Director Rick Moeser and AVP, Client Relationship Manager Seth Watsky of the Christie’s International Real Estate team, the group toured a number of exhibitions including Old Master Paintings and The Exceptional Sale, as well as highlights of an upcoming jewelry sale and a preview of luxury handbags.
 
Long & Foster Luxury Alliance Visits Christie’s
Christie’s International Real Estate’s New York headquarters hosted a two-day event for 25 top agents from Long & Foster Real Estate’s Luxury Alliance group, hailing from Washington, DC; Baltimore; and the surrounding metropolitan areas. To increase their knowledge of the Christie’s brand and business, the Luxury Alliance team received a tour of Classic Week with Old Master Painting’s specialist Louisa Howard, followed by a training provided by the Christie’s International Real Estate executive team.
European Property Awards Dinner
Held in London, the annual European Property Awards presented the national winners of its coveted property categories. The highest award, the Five Star Award, in the categories "Best Real Estate Agency Austria" and "Best Real Estate Marketing Austria" went to Christie’s International Real Estate Affiliate Avantgarde Properties. Celebrating the highest levels of achievement by companies across all sectors of the real estate industry, an International Property Award is a world-renowned mark of excellence.
 
Christie’s Luxury Week in Geneva
Christie’s International Real Estate and eight sponsoring Affiliates celebrated Geneva Luxury Week. Over the course of six days, an estimated 3,000 visitors attended the auctions, which are dedicated to rare watches, rare & fine wines, and magnificent jewels. The Elounda Azure estate in Greece was on prominent display, as well as Luxury Living Volume 15, the quarterly Magazine, and The Luxury Edition. Additionally, Luxury Living Volume 15 was included in gift bags at two top client events—a breakfast co-hosted by UK Affiliate Strutt & Parker and a luncheon held by the Christie’s Jewelry and Handbags departments.
Annual Innovation Conference
Coastal Properties Group International hosted its annual Innovation Conference in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Attended by 180 brokers, the event featured presentations focused on social media, the state of the economy, and leveraging the Christie’s brand. An agent panel, featuring Liza Caminiti of Ivester Jackson Distinctive Properties, Mark Haldeman of Christie’s International Real Estate Aspen, Julia DeCastro of Michael Saunders & Company, and Christie’s International Real Estate Executive Director Rick Moeser, discussed effective ways to stay in contact with your sphere, the best return on investment for marketing, and how to stand out in a competitive luxury market.
